Management
Jim Sutton, founder of the Fail-Safe Group, has over twenty years of experience in the software development, information technology and telecommunications fields. He has extensive experience in Enterprise Development, Satellite Communications, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Long Distance Call Processing. Jim’s area of specialty is the revival of over-budget, past-due and under-featured product development efforts.
Jim has made a name for himself as "someone who gets things done". In both executive and technical positions, he was instrumental in producing over a dozen new product releases of highly available, enterprise-wide, mission-critical software applications. Of those, nearly half were considered turnarounds due to the initial development environments.
With a consulting career spanning ten years, from New York to the Far East, Jim has overcome significant challenges and always exceeded expectations working for companies such as Böwe Bell + Howell, YellowBrick Solutions, MCI and Stanford Telecom. He holds a U.S. provisional patent and has been published several times. Jim earned both a Bachelor of Science in Computer Studies and an Associates degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland. In addition, Jim served with distinction in the U.S. Army. |
